Pet Policy

At Lake Belle RV Resort, we are pleased to welcome well behaved pets. All pets must have current vaccinations and be properly registered as required by law. While we do not routinely request pet records, guests must have documentation available and be prepared to provide proof of vaccinations and registration if a concern or incident involving a pet occurs. If valid documentation cannot be provided when requested, guests may be required to remove the pet from the resort or may be asked to leave the resort.

1. No more than three generally accepted domestic pets are permitted per RV site. Pets must be true household pets. Pets that display aggressive or disruptive behavior are not permitted at the resort. This includes barking excessively, attacking, growling, biting, or any other menacing behavior toward guests, staff, or other animals.  Management reserves the right to require the immediate removal of any pet that exhibits aggressive or unsafe behavior.

2. No pet with a history of biting or attacking any person shall be allowed in the Resort.

3. Pet owners are required to demonstrate full control of their pet and its behavior. If a complaint is received by Management regarding the behavior of a particular pet, which Management in its sole discretion determines to be valid, Management may require that the pet be permanently removed from the Resort. 
4. Pets must be kept inside the RV except when taken outdoors on a leash for reasonable outdoor exercise periods. For this purpose, pets may be walked on the Guest’s site or in designated areas within the Resort. When outside the RV, all droppings must be immediately removed by the Guest. In no event may a pet be permitted to trespass on another Guest’s site.
5. Pets are not permitted to swim in the lake or the resort pool. This is Florida where the waterways belong to the wildlife – notably snakes and alligators.
6. Pets shall not, under any circumstances, at any time be caged, fenced, tied or otherwise left restrained and unattended outside the RV of the pet's owner. Portable RV pet enclosures are permitted at RV sites provided they are free standing and not attached to or staked into the ground. Permanent or semi permanent structures such as dog houses, dog runs, cages, or other fixed containment structures are not permitted.
7. Pets shall not be left alone outside at any time. However, pets may be leashed outside for short periods of time if and only if the owner is outside with the pets.
8. Noisy, disruptive, or destructive pets are not allowed. Persistent barking, howling, chirping, etc. by any pet at any time of the day or night, which is audible outside the RV, constitutes unacceptable pet behavior.
9. No other agricultural or wild animals, poisonous creatures or exotic creatures such as pigs, iguanas, snakes, ferrets, etc., are permitted in the Resort.
10. Residents shall hereby be liable for and shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless Lake Belle RV Resort, its affiliates and its and their officers, directors, employees, agents, and assigns from all personal injury or property damage caused by pets. In addition, Guests shall comply with all provisions of any rules, regulations and ordinances of any governmental authority or agency and the laws of the State with respect to dogs, cats and other pets.
11. Pets are never allowed in group recreational areas, laundry facilities, or Resort and office buildings. (Certified service animals are the only exception.)
12. In the event of verified complaints against a pet, you may be asked to vacate your site. No refund will be provided.
